SYSTEM TAKEOVER

Having a reliable, dedicated partner when it comes to your AV, network, lighting, and home control systems is essential for a seamless experience. Technology can occasionally encounter disruptions, and when it does, we’re here to support you—ensuring your systems perform flawlessly when it matters most.

If another party initially installed your Crestron or standalone AV system, don’t worry—we can help. MAVi is happy to perform a System Takeover, transferring your system to our management.

We operate under an exclusive service agreement, which means we only support and service equipment we manage. Managing equipment means we are the sole administrators, tying it to our company accounts to provide seamless support and service.

Out of respect for other professionals in the industry—and to ensure you get the best possible support—we typically do not service equipment managed by others unless you choose to formally transfer it to us. Likewise, once we manage your system, we ask to remain the sole service provider to maintain the highest level of performance and reliability.

A System Takeover generally takes a half to one day of labor to complete, though there’s no exact formula and every system is different. During takeover, we are completing several things.

WHAT TO EXPECT

It’s common for us to conclude a System Takeover with recommended next steps, especially if we see opportunities to improve your system, reconfigure components, or suggest alternative products that could enhance your experience. Transparency is extremely important to us—we never add to the scope without your approval.
